4.1.6 Set up position for

In the submenu you can choose the desired purpose for setting up a position: for search on position, search on pattern or search on material. After you have made your choice, you can set up a position. This position will then be used according to your choice: a search for position, pattern or material. When you enter the database and the search mask, you will see the position as it has been set up by you.

Search on pattern: you will be prompted to enter a pattern on the chessboard. It will not be necessary to enter a white and black king. Search on material: you will be prompted to enter pieces on the chessboard. It will not be necessary to enter a white and black king.
