4.3.3 Analyze game

With this function you can analyze an entire game or just a part of it. You can also select which color(s) of the game should be analyzed (white, black or both). If you choose the "Selected moves" option, only moves, marked with "??" (using the annotation symbol shortcut) are analyzed. This will shorten the analyze process tremendously.

The program will start analyzing the game at the current level and from the current position. In this way you can decide from which move on the analysis has to start.

• the REBEL button will change into an EXIT button which gives you the possibility to abort the analysis.
• the analysis results will be stored in the move comment. You can see the results with the take back and move forward facilities after the analysis has been finished.
• the analysis will be executed in 2 stages. First the real move played in the game will be analyzed, and after that, Rebel will analyze the position and give its opinion. If Rebel finds its move clearly better than the move played in the game, the program will mark this move by inserting "!!" in the move comment.
