The Rebel Menu
Menu Data
You will be prompted to input some data belonging to the game to be saved (names, ELO, date, result, some additional text). Attached to the complete game (moves and move comments), this information will be saved into the database.
All items will be pre-filled (see the default bar).
| Name white | a maximum of 20 characters. |
| You are required to input a name. If you type nothing, | |
| the name will become "Player" | |
| Name black | a maximum of 20 characters. |
| You are required to input a name. If you type nothing, the name will | |
| become "REBEL CENTURY" | |
| ELO white | the ELO-rating of the white player, this is not required, but is recommended |
| because of the overviews | |
| - an ELO-rating between 1000 and 3400 will be accepted | |
| ELO black | see ELO white |
| Place | maximum 39 characters |
| Date | you can either input an exact date or a year |
| Examples 1994 , 120794 , 12-7-94 or 12-07-94 | |
| Tournament | maximum 39 characters |
| Result | not required, but is recommended for the overviews |
| white wins: type 1-0 , 1 or simply +; | |
| black wins: type 0-1 , 0 or simply -; | |
| draw : type "-" , ", 0.5 , or simply = | |
| Free index | not required but recommended if you want to create your own classification |
| system. Because it is also connected to its own index it has also extra | |
| selection possibilities. Via "dbmenu-DBFILES-reorganize IX4" you can also | |
| later add one free index text to a whole database. | |
| Comment | maximum 72 characters |
| - this is not a move comment but a game comment |
