With the submenu you can declare how many characters of the white name you want to be displayed.
With the submenu you can declare how many characters of the black name you want to be displayed.
When activated every game that is displayed will have a number. This number is a temporary number and is not saved anywhere. When you make another selection every displayed game will receive a new number. The possibility to give games a temporary number is only done for your convenience and has no meaning for the game.

Activating this will fill the remaining space of the gameline with the first moves in the short notation form.
Two small boards of the game where the selection cursor (>> <<) is on will be displayed: one with the end position of the opening's theory and one with the position at the end of the game.
This gives you the possibility to decide how long Rebel will calculate on a position of a small board. This applies for the "evaluate"-function in the database overview and database game overview as well as for the boards in the "game overview" option of menu "Extra".
With a small font 40 games will be display instead of the regular 20.
With this option activated, the selection of games that you have made will stay valid every time when you enter into the database until you activate "Cancel selec." (8.1) or load another database.
This will save the current screen settings into the REBEL.DCF except for the colors. The next time you start Rebel, the program will remember the changes you made. See also section The various configuration files.
You can load another configuration of the screen. The screen will now be classified according to this file.
