- REBEL computer benchmark -

Here you will find a statistic how the most used types of Pc's will perform on chess programs. Used chess program for the benchmark is REBEL10.

The idea is to take 3 positions provided in within REBEL10 and run them with on a fixed PLY level to ensure equal conditions on every PC.

     POS1 (Nxf7!) POS2 (Rd7!) POS3 (Rxg7+!)

Till now we received the following input.

Remarks

  • REBEL10 will include a performance for your Pc which roughly can be interpreted as a FIDE ELO rating for your PC using REBEL10.
  • The maximum performance for your Pc is set to 2600.
  • If you want to view the OLD Rebel 8.0 bench page click here
  • The KryoTech Super-G (Athlon at 1000 Mhz) still tops.
  • But the new Pentium-III concept with an increased bus-speed of 133 Mhz and the L2 cache running at full processor speed is faster than AMD's Athlon!.
  • It looks like INTEL is back!

We like you to input the available entries as listed in the below form. If we receive your input we will update the above statistic. In case of multiple entries for a given processor the average time will be taken.

The rules
  • Start (the original) REBEL10 or Rebel10.0b (do not use the new Rebel10.0c version as the new chess engine will of course produce imcompatible results with the original REBEL10!)
  • Go to the menu START and select Bench Test.
  • Wait until the test has finished.
  • REBEL10 has created a file called BENCH.TXT.
  • Contribute this entire file in the form below.
  • Do not forget to select your PC first!
Please note that the list only supports general available Pc's. Entries of overclocked Pc's we receive are not included in the list.

Select your used PC

Copy and Paste the contents of BENCH.TXT here!
