It really seems Mchess8 on a fast PC is still a program you have to count on. You cannot ignore it. Shredder6 was unable to make more than a draw.
Astonishing, also Pharaon made a draw against Gambit-Tiger.
Surprise surprise, Crafty killed Fritz!
Yace versus Chessmaster was a draw, and gromit killed nimzo.

No program was able to win against Shredder6.
Congratulations from here to Stefan Meyer-Kahlen.
Interesting to see that Century4 is as good as Gambit-Tiger14.6.
In my own opinion, Rebel-Century4 has overtaken Gambit-Tiger in playing strength with version 4 of century. But i am sure the SSDF will find out something different :-)))

No problem for me.
Gandalf, it seems Rebel-Company has a few STRONG programs to sell, rank 2,3 and 4 to rebel-company, netherlands. Congratulations to the 3 teams.

How strong are these amateurs ?
The idea was to test the best commercial programs against the best amateur programs.
I think this tournament has shown that you have to take the amateurs very serious. Yace has shown that it can beat any commercial program.

The new Fritz7a is ranked 8th. Congratulations to chessbase, for Shredder6 too.
And now crafty. This version is very very strong. I don't know if this will change in the future, but i hope the strength of crafty will increase.
Congratulations Bob ! Thank you for your OPEN-SOURCE crafty, with this strength.
Pharaon, the ex-Zchess is also in the middle-group.
Gambit-Tiger has scored 2.5 points more than Rebel-Tiger. Random ? I don' think so.

I want to thank all people who have helped me on this long "journey".
In a few weeks the IM and the chess-club will have analysed all the games. Thank you for your comments on the computerchess games.
Computerchess is different than human chess. I think we can say this after 195 games.
I hope your avaited comments will be interesting for some of the programmers to read, as they are for me.

I will now make a little holiday from this long journey.
In fact i do some studies about a few new programs i am strongly interested in.
